That's something no one can tell you definitively. I played Portia on Switch, and my Switch is also a release model, though that should make no difference. However, I never encountered the glitch you're speaking of. One festival was bugged for me to the point that I couldn't participate (the fighting one, don't remember what it was called...I believe they fixed that now, though.) and I occasionally got 'stuck' on this one rock on a certain path. My character literally COULD NOT MOVE OFF THAT SPOT. If you dodge-rolled, sometimes you could get unstuck, but it was a crapshoot. And it didn't happen if you just avoided that rock. (Though you wouldn't know that unless you'd already gotten stuck on it once.)
