The Revolution beauty advent calendar for 2024 is now on sale at Amazon ahead of Black Friday, and can save shoppers more than £60 on makeup essentials
Revolution has slashed the price of their beauty advent calendar for 2024, saving shoppers more than £60 on its contents. Each year, the brand’s festive countdown is incredibly popular with fans of their affordable makeup products, with last year's sales having sold out by November last year, after more than 24,500 people signed up to the waitlist.
The calendar launched back in August, with a retail price of £48. Its contents are worth more than £97, saving shoppers 51% on the beauty buys inside. But now, it’s even cheaper.
As Black Friday approaches, the price of the Revolution advent calendar has dropped to £36 at Amazon. That’s £61 less than the value of the contents, and around 61% off in total.

The calendar features 24 boxes to open throughout December, including a mix of full-sized and deluxe-sized products, from the brand's Satin Kiss lipstick to Kohl eyeliners and an eyeshadow palette . It's got everything you could need to stock up your make-up cabinet - perfect for the upcoming festive season.
Our reviewer, Eve Rowlands, took a peek inside the calendar and called it ‘a real treat for make-up lovers who can't splurge on high-end lipsticks, eyeshadows and more but still want good quality goods.’ She added: “All in all, this calendar is such a steal at £36 and contains all the products you need to give your face dimension, colour and glamour - and the tools to make it so.
“Whether you're buying it for yourself, for your teenage daughter or a friend, it's a great way to try out some new eyeshadow, lipstick and highlighter shades without making such a dent in your bank balance.”
The advent calendar was also praised by This Morning beauty expert, Sarah Jossel, who appeared on the show alongside Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. Speaking on the Revolution countdown, she said: “If you have a teenager in the house, Revolution is such affordable makeup. It's a really good place to get them to introduce themselves to the world of makeup, it’s really good quality, really affordable. I'm such a big fan of the brand. “
Meanwhile, on Amazon, it’s earned dozens of five star reviews from shoppers, with one commenting: “I actually can’t believe the price of this, it’s such good value for money! Really good sizes of products and will make advent extra special! Would recommend!”
Another, who watched the This Morning segment, added: “My granddaughter loved all the products. She opened all the boxes with 2 days! The calendar was recommended on This Morning programme as suitable for teenagers. I took a risk to buy it and am pleased to say it's been a success.”
However, there is a slight flaw to the calendar, and that’s that a number of shoppers don’t like the design. One said: “This is soooo badly designed - it's ridiculous !! Every time you open the calendar (its a book style of opening) each side of the 'book' which contains all the little numbered boxes from 1 to 24 fall out into a pile on the table!”

In other advent calendar reductions, for those seeing some indulgent self-care this festive season, ESPA’s wellbeing advent calendar has been discounted exclusively at LookFantastic ahead of Black Friday. The calendar, which is worth £488, was originally £175, but now has 10% off, taking the total down to £157.50.
At Debenhams, shoppers can save 10% on the Benefit Gorgeous Grocer Beauty Advent Calendar, taking the price down from £156 to £140.40. And at Boots, their Boots Macmillan 24 Doors of Joy Advent Calendar is worth £150, but has been reduced from £90 to £44.
